Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines in accordance with clinical protocols
• Titrate IV drips as ordered and within scope of practice
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5)
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Familiarity with peripheral and PICC line care and management in a high-acuity environment
