Surgical Technologist – CVOR (Certified Surgical Tech)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend PM shifts with call required | Flexibility required

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub into CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacement surgeries
• Perform and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all surgical procedures
• Assist with general OR, thoracic, and vascular cases as needed
• Manage cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Operate crash cart and fulfill both scrub and circulate roles as required
• Accurately document equipment usage and maintain charting in EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of total CST experience
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac and vascular experience
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR-specific experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Active BLS certification required
• Scrub experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
