Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a pediatric setting, including care for neonates and infants
- Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures within scope of practice
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
- Document patient care and clinical activities using Epic electronic health record system
- May float within the unit or department based on experience and facility needs
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
- Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license required at time of start
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Pediatric, neonatal, and infant clinical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Background in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
