Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Float to Mother Baby unit as needed based on staffing requirements
- May be required to float to additional facilities within the state
- Utilize Epic electronic health records system for charting and documentation
- Participate in holiday coverage, committing to a minimum number of designated holidays per contract terms
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (3 years preferred)
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS/BCLS, and NRP
- LA Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Precepting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Ability to accommodate a block schedule per manager discretion
