Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement established treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas (permanent license required)
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Ability to complete credentialing requirements prior to assignment start
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient therapy environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
