Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Oncology unit with a patient ratio of 1:3–4, flexing to 1:5
- Administer and monitor IV therapies including blood and electrolyte replacement using Baxter infusion pumps
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Adhere to unit protocols including neutropenic precautions, strict intake and output monitoring, CHG baths, dressing changes, and line and cap maintenance schedules
- Float to Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant units as needed
- Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and patient care technicians to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Oncology nursing experience
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Experience with Baxter infusion pumps
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hematology/Oncology (HemOnc) background
- Chemotherapy certification
- Experience with Bone Marrow Transplant patient populations
