Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting within an acute care facility
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities nearby as needed
- Participate in weekend coverage, working 2 out of every 4 weekends (Friday–Sunday)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; California state license preferred (pending license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify at standard rates
- Ability to provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current, valid California RN license in hand at time of submission
- Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with acute care facility environments and floating protocols
