Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Float Pool)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Telemetry and Medical/Surgical inpatient units as part of a Resource/Float Pool team
• Rotate across multiple inpatient Med/Surg and Telemetry units to ensure safe, flexible, and efficient coverage
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and/or Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a resource pool or float pool environment
• Strong adaptability and comfort rotating across multiple inpatient units
• Telemetry specialty background strongly preferred
