Seasonal Contract RN – Labor and Delivery (13 Weeks)

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
- Utilize unit equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and multidisciplinary team members across day and night shifts
- Adhere to unit attendance policies and maintain a positive, team-oriented approach to patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- STABLE certification required
- Competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and intermediate fetal monitoring
- Sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency
- C-section circulation experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience working in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
- Previous travel nursing experience in comparable acute care settings
