Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required at time of submission
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• Must achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility location
• Charge RN experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with electronic time and attendance or workforce management systems
