Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | 3x12-Hour Night Shifts (36 hours per week) | Onsite | Weekdays and some weekends required | Rotating holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a lower acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a cardiac focus
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with unit and organizational policies and procedures
• Float to units of similar or lower acuity within the organization as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or state-specific) required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a travel or multi-unit float capacity
