Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 (up to 5:1 when stretched)
• Perform neurological and spinal checks, C-collar placement, and TLSO brace application
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, lumbar drains, and IV infusions
• Assist with feeding tube placement and blood transfusions
• Operate unit equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, patient lifts, and Trachs
• Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR; float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, stepdown, or similar acute care setting
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (required; candidates without will not be considered)
• Demonstrated experience in neuro and trauma care
• Ability to work every other weekend per unit requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in neuro and trauma care procedures within a progressive care environment
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Team-oriented, patient-focused approach to care delivery
