Travel Registered Nurse – PCU / Clinical Decision Unit

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Clinical Decision Unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care and stepdown observation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, care delivery, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or Clinical Decision Unit environment
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required per facility standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or stepdown unit
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility-specific workflows
