Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in the CVOR setting
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during cardiovascular surgical cases
- Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to sterile technique, infection control protocols, and all applicable safety policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
- Ability to meet travel assignment requirements with a projected start date of July 10, 2026
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with open-heart surgery, interventional cardiac procedures, or robotic-assisted cardiovascular surgery
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or similar high-acuity surgical environment
- CNOR or relevant cardiovascular nursing certification
