Contract | Day Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 5x8 Hours) | Onsite | Every third weekend required | On-call required one night per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an endoscopy/GI procedure suite, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures
- Deliver pre-operative and discharge nursing care, with ratios up to 4:1 in those areas
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one call shift per week
- Work every third weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Utilize Epic and GMED electronic health record systems for accurate and timely documentation
- Float within scope to comparable units as needed to support facility staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy/GI nursing experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license valid in South Carolina, required prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to remain within 30 minutes of the facility to respond to on-call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic and/or GMED charting platforms
- Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers will be considered
