Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract (13–20 week options available) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open licensing or background check cases; facility does not accept any license or background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility location
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
• Familiarity with medication administration assessment tools used during hospital orientation
