Registered Nurse – GI/Endoscopy Lab (Contract/Travel)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Call required 2–3 days per week plus every 3rd weekend | Alternating weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a GI/Endoscopy Lab setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with and support procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, robotic bronchoscopies, thoracentesis, and pleur-X placement
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation in collaboration with another RN
- Operate and maintain unit equipment including Olympus scopes, Medivator, and Scope Buddy 2
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation as required, including weekend call coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Demonstrated experience with EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures
- Ability to perform moderate sedation alongside another RN
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Bronchoscopy and EBUS procedures
- Familiarity with robotic bronchoscopy procedures
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
