Contract | Days & Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 36 Hours/Week | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed-acuity Stepdown/PCU setting with up to 32 beds, caring for medical and pre/post-surgical patients requiring progressive care
• Monitor and manage telemetry, dysrhythmias, and hemodynamic changes in PCU-level patients
• Administer IV therapy, blood products, and heparin protocols; maintain central lines and PICC lines
• Participate in rapid response and code team activations as needed
• Provide respiratory support and wound care as indicated by patient condition
• Float within the organization as required to support staffing needs across units

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent progressive care, PCU, or Stepdown nursing experience
• Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to float within the organization as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Background in pre/post-surgical patient care and respiratory support
• Teaching hospital experience welcomed
• First-time travelers are accepted
