Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Weekdays and Some Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Start and manage IVs and administer medications safely
- Monitor patient vitals and responses, escalating concerns as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on treatments and self-care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team on patient care plans
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely charting
- Float to lower acuity units as needed while adhering to hospital policies and patient safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (compact or state license) in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Current BCLS certification
- IV certification required
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience
