Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients (18+) in a general Medical/Surgical float pool setting
- Float across multiple Med/Surg units as needed to meet staffing demands of the facility
- Float to the Emergency Room as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including weekend rotations, with full flexibility to meet staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be fully flexible with scheduling; no block scheduling offered
- Must wear Navy scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a float pool environment across multiple units
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
- Experience with patient ratios up to 1:6 in a Med/Surg setting
