Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to a diverse patient population with multiple co-morbidities, with a specialized focus on stroke and neuro patient populations
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry and perform on-unit telemetry monitoring as needed
• Perform and manage feeding tube care, port access, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, peripheral line care, and IV starts
• Deliver care including CVA management, nasal cannula oxygen therapy, isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac management
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–1:6 within an inpatient setting
• Float to other health system campuses as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• On-unit telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• Experience working with stroke or neuro patient populations
• Comfort and flexibility with floating across multiple facility campuses
