Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Saturday – Monday | Saturday & Sunday: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Monday: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal, vascular (renal transplant, liver Doppler/TIPPS evaluation), and limited OB studies (greater than 14 weeks / 1st trimester on an occasional basis)
• Conduct procedures including liver biopsies, soft tissue biopsies, kidney biopsies, FNA of thyroid nodules, and occasional drainages and aspirations
• Perform paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures for inpatient and ED patients on weekends
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment and utilize PACS for image management
• Float to other health system campuses as needed to support staffing across facilities
• Document and manage imaging studies within the EMR system (EPIC)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience required
• Active ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active, in-hand credential/license at time of submission
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local candidates not eligible); valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARDMS abdomen (AB) and ARDMS OB/GYN (OB) registries preferred
• Experience with InteleRad PACS preferred
• Experience with Siemens ultrasound equipment preferred
• Familiarity with liver elastography in an outpatient setting is a plus
