Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week | On-Call Required: Weekend call Saturday or Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM; Weekday call 7:45 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Assist with and support orthopedic surgical procedures
- Assist with and support robotic surgical cases
- Fulfill on-call obligations including weekend and weekday call rotations as scheduled
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 5 years of operating room nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience with orthopedic surgical cases
- Demonstrated experience with robotic surgical cases
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing a high-volume or fast-paced OR environment
- Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties in addition to orthopedics and robotics
