Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a float pool RN across medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, renal, and cardiology units within a short-term acute care facility
• Operate within patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5–6 on days/weekends and 1:6 on nights
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and perform IV starts as part of routine patient care
• Operate lift devices including ceiling lifts and bladder scanners (training provided)
• Call in to a recorded line up to one hour before shift start to receive unit assignment when in float pool status
• Fulfill every-other-weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday) plus holiday rotation obligations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (Missouri license may be submitted pending; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated IV start competency
• Telemetry competency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
