Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Mid Shift | Block Schedule (8-hour shifts) | Every other weekend required | Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation using ECS EMR
• Administer medications and carry out clinical skills including IV therapy, catheterization, and ostomy care
• Serve in charge nurse capacity as required on the unit
• Provide care to a long-term care population including residents with dementia, frailty, and rehabilitation needs within a 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including therapy, social work, dietary, and activities staff
• Float to other units as needed and adhere to facility clock-in/clock-out procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working with elderly patient populations
• Proficiency with IV therapy and titratable drips
• Ability to fulfill weekend and holiday availability requirements as outlined

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Familiarity with ECS electronic medical records system
• Experience with dementia care and rehabilitation patient populations
