Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8-Hour Shifts, 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties within the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Float within the department as needed to support surgical team coverage
- Participate in an on-call rotation including weekday and weekend call coverage
- Fulfill holiday on-call responsibilities as part of the team rotation
- Maintain readiness for call-back within 30 minutes to the facility during on-call periods
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in a CVOR setting
- Active NBSTSA certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation: approximately 8–10 call days per month (weekdays 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM; weekends 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet call-back time requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with weekend on-call rotations in a hospital surgical environment
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
