Multimodality Radiology Technologist – CT & X-Ray

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM) with one overnight rotation (Sunday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM) | On-call rotation required at secondary location

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiographic exams of designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment across a dual-location hybrid assignment, including an acute care hospital and a freestanding emergency department
• Obtain patient history, explain routine imaging procedures, and address patient concerns prior to exams
• Participate in an on-call rotation at the freestanding emergency department location
• Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist with CT experience
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) licensure in Radiography (R) and CT
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must have completed an AMA-approved school of radiological technology
• Radiation monitoring badge required — must be supplied by agency prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital or freestanding emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR charting system
• Comfort with multimodality imaging in a fast-paced, dual-site environment
