Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Midshift 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a measurable, individualized plan of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the care plan as needed
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or active Compact state license
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• PALS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• TNCC or ATCN Certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI / De-Escalation Certification preferred
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
