Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 26-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday | Start times may vary by area (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in support of the Emergency Department, inpatient units, and operating room
  • Heavy Emergency Department experience is required — candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced ED environment
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment with proficiency across multiple clinical areas
  • Utilize advanced technical computer skills to support imaging systems and related departmental technology
  • Adapt to varying start times and coverage areas as assigned by department needs

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational or Technical training in Medical Radiography required
  • Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist – Radiography license required
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of related radiologic technology work experience required
  • Advanced technical computer skills as applicable to imaging systems and functional area
  • Candidates must have been separated from the facility system for at least six months to be eligible — those who have worked at the associated health system within the last six months (in any capacity) will not be considered
  • This is a 26-week contract only — 13-week assignments will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience supporting inpatient units and surgical/OR environments in addition to the ED
  • Ability to work independently across multiple clinical areas with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with hospital-based PACS and radiology information systems
