Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents during night shift hours
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in health status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized resident care plans
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care for the LTC/SNF setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of South Dakota or a compact state license
- Experience working in a Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility setting>
- Ability to pass a facility-conducted background check and drug screen (results may take 7–10 business days; assignment start is contingent upon clearance)
- Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer or as soon as possible pending compliance
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in LTC or SNF environments
- Familiarity with night shift workflows and staffing in long-term care settings
- Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
