Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with rotating days off throughout the month. On-call requirement includes one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and clinical stability
• Assist with procedure setup and breakdown in the Cath Lab environment
• Support a range of procedures including left heart cath, right heart cath, and peripheral interventions
• Assist with advanced interventions such as carotid stents, AAAs, TAVR, and device implants

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact license eligibility
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting
• Ability to administer and monitor moderate sedation
• Availability for on-call shifts, including weekday and rotating weekend call

Preferred Experience / Skills

• More than two years of Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with advanced procedures such as TAVR, AAA repair, carotid stenting, and cardiac device implants
• Experience with both left and right heart catheterization procedures
