Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Weekends as needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a short-term acute care setting
• Perform neuro diagnostics and respiratory assessments as assigned
• Operate within variable patient ratios across assigned units
• Chart and document patient care using Epic
• Participate in holiday coverage — expected to work 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Valid state license or compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms (locals within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Background must be clear — facility does not accept background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a short-term acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience with neuro diagnostics in addition to core respiratory therapy duties
