Contract | 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every other weekend and every other holiday | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial admissions and provide care for Medical/Surgical patients transitioning from the ER until placement in a designated unit
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care within a fast-paced, 15-bed all-private-room unit at a Level I Trauma Center
• Administer and manage medications using Omnicell and monitor patients via Aleris IV pumps
• Communicate effectively using Zebra phones and document all patient care accurately in Epic
• Float to other Medical/Surgical units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility for North Dakota)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing between 60 and 80 miles may be subject to a local travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-acuity, fast-paced Medical/Surgical environments
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication dispensing systems and Aleris IV pumps
• Strong adaptability and ability to float across multiple Medical/Surgical units
