Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures Technologist

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, GI bleeds, GU/Renal, peripheral vascular, pulmonary, endovascular, and stent placement cases
• Support Y-90 chemo delivery, TPA administration, vein sampling, cryoablations, and Phase 2 recovery
• Collaborate with stroke teams and apply neurovascular experience in time-sensitive clinical situations
• Operate within a 50/50 inpatient and outpatient environment, utilizing EPIC for documentation and Pyxis for medication management
• Participate in call coverage, including 2 full weekends per 6-week period and 9 weeknight call shifts
• Float to a sister campus for regular shifts and call coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Active Washington State license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience with Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, TPA, vein sampling, Phase 2 recovery, and cryoablations — all areas are required; candidates who do not meet all requirements may not be considered
• Experience working with stroke teams and/or strong neurovascular background required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler; locals are accepted under a separate rate structure
• Candidates who have previously worked at any affiliated facility as a permanent employee must have been separated from that health system for a minimum of 3 months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of interventional radiology or special procedures experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Prior experience with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication systems
