Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 4x10-Hour Evening Shifts (10:30 AM – 9:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center PACU setting, following ASPAN standards
• Care for a diverse patient population including pediatric (1 year and older), adult, and geriatric patients
• Support same-day surgery, inpatient admissions, and observation patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, thoracic, bariatric, and trauma, among others
• Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as required
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU or relevant RN experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties including pediatric, trauma, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology cases
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
