Key Responsibilities

• Provide IEP-based social work services to students, including planning, implementing, and evaluating therapy, documentation, and IEP compliance.
• Create social-emotional and behavioral goals to support educational access and student success.
• Design and deliver activities that support social-emotional learning to enhance student engagement within the school setting.
• Utilize direct and consultative interventions to improve academics and social-emotional learning across the educational environment.
• Deliver high-quality assessments and interventions including conflict resolution, anger management, crisis intervention, social-emotional screenings, RTI/MTSS services, and comprehensive social-emotional evaluations — all per district policy.
• Collaborate with school staff, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to staff development and supervision support.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or higher.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), endorsed in School Support Personnel.
• Licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and best practices.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including students with disabilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
