Contract | Travel | Night Shift | 16 Weeks | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in an ambulatory surgery center setting
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, airway, and neurological status during the post-operative recovery phase
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions through the recovery process
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Maine or compact license eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or post-anesthesia care experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient surgery center setting
• ACLS certification
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills in a post-operative environment
