Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 48-bed Emergency Department setting with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes charge nurses, CNAs, and mid-shift support staff, with staffing levels varying based on patient volume
- Utilize the Meditch EMR system to accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Perform a full range of emergency nursing procedures and operate all required department equipment
- Adhere to unit dress code requirements, including navy scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- No on-call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC, ALS, or ENPC certification
- Emergency nursing certification (CEN, PEN, or equivalent)
- Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
