We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with our physical therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans • Conduct patient interviews, take medical histories, and gather necessary information • Prepare patients for treatment sessions, including positioning and transferring patients • Implement treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of [insert state] • 0-2 years of experience in SNF setting preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Basic life support (BLS) certification
