Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment plans for patients with various physical disabilities or injuries. • Conduct patient assessments, including range of motion evaluations, strength testing, and gait analysis. • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs to promote patient recovery and mobility. • Educate patients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and post-operative care. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and preparing patient files.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field. • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam. • 1+ year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably in a clinical setting. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. • Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients as needed. • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
