We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Harris Hill Center, a premier healthcare facility located in the heart of Concord, New Hampshire. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals • Assist physical therapists with patient care, including exercise programs, range of motion exercises, and modalities such as heat and cold therapy • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care • Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home care strategies
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of New Hampshire • 1-2 years of experience in physical therapy settings • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Basic life support certification (BLS) and CPR certification
