Therapist - Physical Therapist Job Opportunity at Ridgewood Center
Join our dedicated team at Ridgewood Center, a leading skilled nursing facility, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, promoting optimal mobility, strength, and function. • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy, to address various physical impairments and disabilities. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care. • Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, mobility aids, and home safety strategies to promote independence and self-sufficiency. • Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment. • 1+ year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility settings. • Strong clinical skills, knowledge of rehabilitation principles, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
What We Offer:
