Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and goals • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment training • Educate clients and their families on safety, home modifications, and adaptive techniques • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or eligibility for certification • 1-2 years of experience in occupational therapy or related field • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, adults, and older adults • Basic life support certification (BLS) and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
