Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists with patient assessments, treatment plans, and interventions • Conduct patient evaluations, including range of motion, strength, and mobility assessments • Implement and maintain patient records, including documentation of treatment progress and outcomes • Assist with equipment setup and maintenance, including electrotherapy modalities and orthotics • Provide exceptional patient care and support, promoting a positive and inclusive environment • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and industry advancements

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of [insert state] • 1+ year of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation environment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines • Basic life support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain advanced life support (ALS) certification within [insert timeframe]
