We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality patient care, working closely with our licensed therapists to ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient treatment plans • Conduct patient interviews, assessments, and evaluations to gather information on their medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs to promote patient mobility, strength, and function • Assist with the administration of modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and communication with referring physicians • Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement rehabilitation programs for patients with various medical conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders • Provide education and training to patients on proper exercise techniques, lifestyle modifications, and home safety precautions • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or eligibility to sit for the PTA certification exam • Current CPR/AED certification and ability to maintain certification • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities • Strong organizational and time management skills
