Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and scrubbing/circulating complex cardiac cases, general OR cases, and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, general OR cases, and vascular procedures, including: + CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, Valve, Ascending, Descending, Heart & Lung Transplants, etc. • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse • SC or Multi-state RN license in hand at start of contract • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA • Radiation badge required (to be provided by agency) • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Local Radius Rule:

The local radius rule applies to all travelers. This means that the facility is only willing to hire candidates who are willing to travel within a 60-mile radius.

Parking and Registration:

Parking is available in the 91 Presidents Street parking garage, with a $20 registration fee for a hang tag, which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees are applicable.

Important Notes:

• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. • If this is a concern, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. • Peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
