We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Tech - Sterile Processing Technician. As a key member of our healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, sterility, and preparation of medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment to the highest standards of sterility • Operate sterilization machines, such as autoclaves, to ensure effective sterilization of medical instruments • Inspect instruments for damage or defects, and report any issues to the supervisor • Assemble instrument trays and packs according to established procedures to ensure efficient and accurate distribution • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including date, time, and type of sterilization used • Follow strict safety and infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred • Previous experience in a sterile processing or related field preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
