Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP at The Heart Hospital - Denton, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Using the BSWH nursing model, you'll coordinate patient care, assess needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses. You'll also promote safe passage for patients, delegate interventions, and advocate for their rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate assessments according to standards
- Identify and prioritize patient and family needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Promote safe passage for patients
- Delegate interventions based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Facilitate learning for patients, families, nursing staff, and the healthcare team
Requirements
- Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- 2 years of experience in Cath Lab or related
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Nurse (RN), and ACLS certification
- Ability to communicate thoughts clearly and interact with a wide range of constituencies
