We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate X-ray/Rad Tech to join our dynamic team at an acute care hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray and radiography procedures to obtain diagnostic images for patients • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to departmental policies and procedures • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize imaging services and patient outcomes • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional customer service • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in X-ray and radiography to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in X-ray/Rad Tech or related field • Current ARRT certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • California license • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Schedule:

• 4x10 variable shifts • Shifts include: • 0400, 0600, 0700, 0900, 1300, 1800, 2000 • Self-scheduling, with priority given to seniority • No call required • Weekend coverage required, with up to 6 weekend shifts per schedule (6 weeks)
