Occupational Therapist - Making a Difference in Lives

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team on an ongoing, 36-hour contract basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individualized needs and goals • Develop and implement occupational therapy plans to promote independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, group therapy, and education to clients and their families • Adapt and modify activities to accommodate varying abilities and needs • Maintain accurate records and progress reports to track client progress and outcomes

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant state or province • Certification in occupational therapy (e.g., OTR/L, COT) is an asset • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to client-centered care
